140 degrees on 14MZ

Okay thanks to my Christy

I swapped the settings on my Vibe from 120 to 140.

Now on the 14MZ I moved the swash type to H-3 and my swash is now going all over the pot. But after reading the manual I notice that H-3 requires the servo's in different channels.



However, my question is why two elevators ?



I presume now I only need to mess around with my swash settings to get the results I'm after.

Sorry to follow a question with another question, but how is 140 deg CCPM any better or worse than 120 deg CCPM, and why?

mess with the servo reverses until it goes in the right way but not nessarily the right direction.

Yes, I agree, this sort of problem is usually as a result of one or more of the servos working in the wrong sense. This could be because either the reverse functions are round the wrong way, or one or more of the ratios in the swash mix function are round the wrong way, either + where they should be - or vice versa.

Its just a case of messing with it until as Ade says, it works in the right way, make sure all three ratios are set to + first then play with reversing each of the three servos from there.
