JR lost the plot good and proper...... was interested a while back, now it would have to come with free beer and lap dancing to be of even remote interest at that price.

Gawd thats a price rise and a half They can keep it, I'll start building plank on frame ships before I give anyone twice the price for a radio that it was selling for the week before. I was also fancying one of the DSX9's but never at that price!

those prices are mental... id expect it to draw my curtains, clean my house, give me foot massages the lot for that kind of money.
What the hells going on seriously?

                Cheers

I've wondered about the whole 'Spektrum low-end - JR high-end' thing for a while.

In other markets, it always seems that the volume product ends up taking over from the high-end, niche product, and owning the market.

Given that Spektrum own & develop the technology (DSM), this seems the natural thing to happen. (And they're part of Horizon Hobby ?)

I suspect that JR are effectively stopping Spektrum selling the products I want, at the prices I'd pay.

i could have saved macgregors a fortune if i was in charge as i wouldn't have bothered ordering any of that. it's a cert none of it will sell.

                    cheers

What they going to do when the yen recovers etc and they still have to shift old stock at stupid prices?

take a loss on it, the yen is starting to recover so they could be sitting on very expensive stock. if they don't take some loss on it (i mean lower profit %) then people will import in droves again.

                        cheers

absolutely stoopid prices, I was looking at the possibility of a dsx9, but definately not now, save my money and spend it on fuel.

Mind you I like Ash's idea, so I suppose some of it could go on lapdancers
                            All the best

Wow thats some price hike guys.
I had my eye on a dsx9 but not at that price.
It makes the futaba 10c price look cracking doesnt it!
Think macgregor has just scored a massive own goal.
