  • Spektrum Tx settings sheet

    Hi Guys,

Somewhere in my travels around the internet I have seen a pdf document that is a sheet upon which you can write/save the Tx setup for a specific model.
Question, has anybody else seen this and if so do you have a link to the file?
    Thanks in advance

    Paul

I think horizon should add a feature to their Txs which allows you to download your settings to the PC.
That way you could back them up and restore them onto your new Tx after you dropped and broke your old one.

Would not have been hard to add an SD Card slot in the side to save configs to in the event you needed to replace a TX..

                  Thats a great idea Aidi.
Then, at the field, if you wanted to fly someone elses heli you could just copy the settings over and viola! Instead of having to go through each screen manually and edit each setting by hand.
Perhaps you should get a job at horizon in their development dept.
                  ;-)

I've all my settings saved in the note pages at the back of the DX6I manual, and thats always stored in the empty box.

I knocked up a Word doc a while back for a DX7 (posted here), which I must update a bit. It's nothing like as neat as the PDF above, but at least you can save the filled-in set-ups.

I agree that I'd (much) rather have a PC tool for this.

                        Hi Again,

Thanks to all that have contributed to this thread, I didn't think it would quite generate this much debate. I must admit that the doc's I have seen in the past were not those listed here but, hey ho, that's life.
I'll just say I haven't lost the settings it's just that I'm setting up from scratch and want to track any changes I make as I go along. Currently I keep saving the setup to different model memories but it's so easy to lose the thread of the changes made.
I'll probably find a copy long after the need has gone as usual.

                        Thanks all once again

                        Paul

                          http://www.jeznewsome.homeftp.net/Je...s%20281007.xls
One file has all the models on seperate tabs......at least it did, I'd better update it as the last update was over a year ago!
