oh come on guys, get real, everybody is different, everybody has different different hands.

not being able to reassign switches without loosing functionality is just plain stupid... and defending it is even worse!

Bit of a difference to my 12FG. Must say was a little frustrated with the limited switch functionality compared to the 12 which allowed you to change any designation, but otherwise found the software pretty easy to use.

      A quick question.

I've put the rx on my R90 which has the spartan DS760 gyro. I used the AUTO mode in the gyro menu and found with the default values of 50%, the gyro wouldn't initialise. I had to increase the values above 60% for the gyro to go into HH. If I decreased the values, the gyro went into rate mode. I came to the conclusion that 50% must be seen by the gyro as 0 and increasing or decreasing the values around this put the gyro into either rate or HH. The values are currently set to 90%.

Anyone else set their spartan up with this radio?
      Yes

If you're using the Gyro Sens function, then you're right, 50% is the zero point and the gain increases as you approach zero from 50 and also as you approach 100 from 50 - like a V curve with 100 at zero, 0 at 50 and 100 again at 100.

So one side of 50 will be heading hold mode and the other will be normal mode.

Personally, I plug my gyros into channel 5 and simply use the end points and the gear switch to adjust the settings. I then use the Gyro Sens function to control my governor, so the gov control comes in with the flight mode switch.

I certainly like to have the ability to re-asign switch's

I certainly use that feature on every futaba tranny I had that allowed it.

JR Must be the right way is totally Twoddle Because you cannot re-asign it doesn't make it the RIGHT way.

Like Vista and OSX... 100 millions of people been doing it the wrong way for years by having windows not there fault they don't know any better
