After getting my Trex set up at the shop my radio came back and did not want to work on the nitro's. I found that the radio had been set at PCM so turned the nitro heli's back to PPM. Now every time I want to fly the Trex I have to go back to PCM. Why can I not select PPM and PCM for different models and why does the Trex have to be PCM. The Trex is ccpm and has a R146ip rx in it.

Sorry Ade. I have the 9C. I have also noticed the rx in the Trex is PCM and the others are duel conversion FM which I take is PPM. Is it not possible to have the models on different modulation settings.Last edited by Mack; 29-05-2006, 07:31 AM.Mack

9c is model specific but after changing from a model that is on ppm to a model that is on pcm you have to switch the tx off and on.

PCM is superior to PPM. but the schulze/hyperion DSP recievers are good.
