  • DX7 Move/Delete Models

    Hi there,

After trying to delete a couple of models on my DX7 and accidently copying over one of my Trex 600's settings (bugger) i have been trying to find a way of deleting models, or moving them to a different model number.

    Is this possible?

    Cheers
    Aidi

    Hi Aidi,

    Yes it is possible.

To delete a model, go into the global menu (switch off, hold scroll and select down, turn on) select the model you want to delete, then with the left buttons scroll down until you get to model reset. Once there, hit clear with the right hand button.

To copy a model, go into the model you want to copy, hit select, now scroll down with the left buttons to the model you want to copy it to with and hit clear. This will then copy the model to your select postion

    Hope this helps dude
    Cheers Matt

        Right. Next question.

How do you copy models to another memory on the DSX9.

Yes its in the manual which is tucked away at this moment in time.

To copy a Model Memory to another Model Memory,
highlight "Select/Copy" by rotating the Scroll Bar and click on it
to bring up the sub menu. The screen will appear as shown below, with the current model at the top and the receiving
Model Memory at the bottom. The screen will toggle between the Model Select and the Model Copy screen with each click.
Please note that details are taken from the current Model Memory and the correct Current Model must be selected before
            performing the copy.

Highlight the bottom model number by rotating the Scroll Bar and click to bring up the browse box of Receiving Model
Memories. Highlight the required Receiving Model Memory by rotating the Scroll Bar and click to exit the sub menu.
CAUTION: Be sure that the correct Model Memory is selected for the copy. The bottom Model Memory will be
overwritten by details from the top Model Memory and will be permanently lost.
To perform the copy, press the clear (CLR) key to the left of the screen. The arrow between the Model Memories moves to
the right and the screen flashes to confirm the copy.
Press the LIST key to return to the System Menu List. Press the enter (ENT) key to return to the Information Display
            Screen.

            Cheated on this one
            Cheers Matt
