    switch on the MCX... wait until the nose starts flashing then hold the bind button in (on the back) when you power up the TX. Keep it held in until it binds and the nose light goes solid. Oh and use airplane model not heli.
    Cheers

      dead easy mate set a new model memory in the tx (standard airplane is best)switch of the tx.plug the battery into the mcx.the led in the nose will flicker rapidly.hold the bind buttonon the rear and sof the tx and switch on. continue to hold the button till the heli led holds solid and your done.... fly away

              I though both the DX6i and DX7 use DSM2..... and the DX6 does not so it wouldnt be able to bind to the MCX.

              Really this works? I have a DX6 and a MCX however the radio is packed away at the moment so I cant try it out.

              I'd be very interested to see this in action.

                Yip Ron we have both missed that one lol...

                The Blade mCX is compatibile with all of the following 2.4Ghz DSM2 technology transmitters.

                * E-fliteĀ® LP5DSM (included with Blade CX2)
                * ParkZoneĀ® Vapor™ transmitter
                * Spektrum DX5e
                * Spektrum DX6i
                * Spektrum DX7
                * Spektrum Modules

                No mention of the DX6 at all because its only DSM1. Looks like the MCX is not backward compatible. Think you best go purchase one of the above nutty gt4.
                Cheers

                      When I said all sorted, I meant I had the answer's I needed, but after trying all day yesterday to bind, your right, it don't work.
                      Anyone fancy buying a DX6?
