I have one of these transfered everything from my dx7 easily. Doesn't work on the flight sim though but i will just use it for real flying and have my old dx7 for the sim.

Phone them up and get them to send you a charger, really bugs me when model shops take them out of the box and sell them separately, when ever I've got stuff from the US or Taiwan I've got a charger so must be a UK thing.

It doesn't come with a charger.
Purely because it is a set designed for the US market and it would have a 2 pin 110v charger.

Settings from the DX6i will probably be different.
When I put my Blade 400 on the DX7 I had at the time, I copied them accross and the swash mix was miles out, to the pont of the servos stalling and screaming.

          How much was it?

If you bought a mobile phone, laptop or camera and there was no charger in the box you'd take it back, why is a transmitter any different?

                I agree.
They come from Horizon without one.
Look at prices for the sets and they are all priced without the charger.
If someone adds the £8.99 the charger costs, it makes there set look expensive and people will not buy it.

The only ways round it are for Horizon to supply the charger, or all the shops to add the price of the charger.
Experience tells me the latter wont happen

That is surely not true becuase these Txs have to be specially modified to meet the UK regs so any destined for the UK market are already unique. You wouldn't want to use a 2.4Ghz tx that is made for the US market here, it would be a crime similar to murdering cute little kittens on live TV.

Doesn't work on the flight sim though
I thougt it was supposedto work with the sim but not as a buddy box. If it doesn't work with sims then I know enough!

Yes, quite aside from issues around CE marking, there is the signal strength limitation over here.

There is also the potential to invalidate your insurance by using an unapproved transmitter.

The trainer socket has been plugged up on it.

it can't work with a sim or buddy because they have basically overclocked the cpu to get the speed up. doing this means the normal timing for the sim and trainer port can't function correctly.

                          cheers

Dont only certain servos and receivers take advantage of the extra speed of this tx?

                            Ahem.

The specs of my 600nsp were setup for the dx7se its not the servos but the receivers you need for the extra speed .....

You can connect a buddy box but not the sim , i will use the dx6 for sim stuff...
