it isn't 1000 on the tranny, its not the JR 12 channel set

Plus at least Ade knows it won't need to re-bind the RX's to it

I'd rather tape up the battery compartment than have the hassle of re-binding

Maybe it's not £1000 on the Tx but it's still a mile more than mine cost and it feels crap, looks crap and the battery falls out if you aren't careful...paid my money taken my choice

I did choose right quality Software and Updates

my 12FG is fine no quality issues at all.. as for looks my Mac pro looks like a gaint cheese grater. Looks do not matter its whats inside that counts

the door isnt an issue as the stock battery is held in with clips inside. its not insecure just not designed to take the weight of the battery.

now to get my head back into futaba mode after using JR for 3 years!

I have both 12Fg/DX7 and play with a JR9X occasionially..The 12FG is in a different league..The software is very extensive being similiar to 14MZ without the colour Screen MP3 player bits. Its not windows based either.

It requires no internal battery replacements ( Eprom stored memory?) Software can be updated, allows SD card model Storage if more is needed. It is Aero/heli/Glider capable. Switch assignability..Very extensive Swash mixes/Multi Flightmodes, Buttery Smooth Quad bearing gimbals, no need to dismantel the TX to tension sticks remove Ratchet etc as access if via grommets. Not a super simple TX to use but with patience offers a lot for those prepared to spend a little time reading the manual. Quite similiar to 9ZHP programing wise.


The door is actually fine. The stock battery clips into Situ, the door only uses enough tension to keep itself shut. The problem only applies if you fit a lipo as the clamps dont hold it physically in. The battery used is a 7.2V and fully charged runs at 8.4V, A charged 2S Lipo also starts at 8.4v although not recommended it should not be a problem.

It is relatively expensive, £725 ish in Combo form but does offer a lot more than the usual culprits. Its high end without the really silly price tag..
