I think you can use FF7 if its set up for heli.
What you really want for her is DX6 alot of them are 2nd hand now and giong cheep, see one with receiver the over day 60 quid delivered (sold).
No need to rush into getting one but DX6 or better is the way forward and also will work out cheeper if you start to take more heli's.Today's outlook is fine for flying.- Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.

Check it will do ccpm mixing my olde ff6 wont so its NFG... you need to set it for a 120 deg swash...
