  • Alternative to AR6200

    Guys,

Is there a cheaper alternative to the AR6200 rx when using a DX7? I've got one AR7000 which is currently in my Mini Pred but this will move to the Raptor 50 soon so I need something to replace it. I'm also looking at getting a fixed-wing electric (4 channels only) so am potentially looking at buying 2 rxs, hence the need to make the most of the money I have!

Are there any compatible 3rd-party rxs available or could I use one of the Spektrum park-flyer rxs (AR6100)? If so, what limitations or risks would that bring?

    cheers,

    Si

Agreed, you won't need anything else in a 450.

You can use the 6100 one part receiver.

You could also use the 6000 DSM1 rx as well (The DX7 is backwards compatable with DSM1 which was the original DX6 parkfly system). The 6100 is in theory more reliabel with 2 antennas rather than one.

For the fixed wing you can use the new 5 channel DSM2 full range receiver that ships with the DX5i
