the aerials on the fasst are defo better for the carbon gliders as you can get them outside the fuz.the

having looked at the 10c manual it seems to do almost everything i need 12fg would be ideal but its a crap load more money!

need to hold one in my hands and have a proper look through the menus first tho.

    Ade,

granted the 12FG is more money....

    1. 12FG can be upgraded via Sd card slot V1.5 now i'm on 1.3...
    2. 12FG can take sd card for more models 1800 or something so plently of room for a big fleet!
    3. Has CCPM correction built in! (does the 10c?)
    4. Has cyclic ring built in (does the 10c?)
    5. Has more mix's than I have hot dinners a week!
    6. Wrestle Trev's 12FG off him and then play with it.. er the 12FG

Use base load aerials for carbon air frames to get the signal

Only down side no Back light

      1) the 14mz has the update facility, but they never really did much with it... what did they change between 1.3 and 1.5?

      2) i dont even have enough models to fill my 9x2 and probably never will :-)

      3) cyclock does it better
      4) cyclock does that too.

      5) rarely use pmix these days. 10c and 8 i think which is plenty.

      6) already done that its good no doubt, but is it really worth twice as much as a 10c?

          Ade,
Not sure what they added to be honest I know someone who had 1.1 then 1.5 and i'm 1.3 I think it was some timing options and mixs...

          2. fair point mine has 6 models in it

3 and 4 ah okay forgot the cyclock

          4. is it worth 599.... probably not then if you have cyclocks and the heli stuff is all in the 10c same as the 12FG...

              Bit vague that

Does it hold current position on everything except throttle which cuts cut ?
If you mean the above then isn't that what they all do?

Voted yes, only problem though has been broken rudder trim rocker. Soon fixed and moved to throttle trim position. DX6I nearly one year old, very pleased otherwise.

No problems with my DX6, or DX7 over the course of a year or so (well apart from when I used the wrong polarity on a my charger but that's my fault obviously)

No problems at all in over a year.

                          DX6i, AR6100, AR6200 and AR7000 (Yet to be flown).

I always make sure LED's on RX's were lit BEFORE starting and off I go.

Only thing I would say is that I do 'hot glue' the RX aerials on. May not need to do this anymore.

I've always put some fuel tube over the antenna wires on my AR7000's, with a drop of CA to fix it to the actual case.

I did do the fuel tube bit with some heat shrink as well but in my last crash, the fuel tube and heat shrink fell off leaving just the aerial which was fine.

So too was the RX so I have no problems recommending Spektrum personally.
