I had to mod my 9000 after a capacitor fell off inside it and caused my 600n to crash...This might have been fixed now...

Could you make these Sticky's for a while so they don't get lost in the ether.

I've been using Spektrum gear for 2 years now and ticked the yes box. The failure I had was one of the antennas on a 6100 receiver coming off the circuit board due to no strain relief provided. I'd actuall consider it a maintenence issue so blame myself, not the equipment.

I don't think the poll is a waste of time simply because the first post from Ade says "don't include faults that are recitifed with their latest products" - i.e. not the early stuff that had some issues...
The latest stuff has QC installed already - better aerial wires - latest firmware etc.
I'd still like to know if Ade is planning on joining the 21st century though

                  Cheers,

Depends on what models are in his fleet still Rob.

I'm still half and half thanks to some of my smaller stuff not allowing 2.4 Spektrum gear to easily be fitted and the lack of anything useable in the pipeline

Mind you if I'd gone Footaba it would be worse looking at the available Rx's

Carbon gliders and the like, I guess?

It's a bit crap that there's no solution to that one at the moment...

a distinct possibility yes rob, however im swinging more towards the 10c. not sure i could spend all that money and get another infuriating 9x.

the aerials on the fasst are defo better for the carbon gliders as you can get them outside the fuz.the

having looked at the 10c manual it seems to do almost everything i need 12fg would be ideal but its a crap load more money!

need to hold one in my hands and have a proper look through the menus first tho.

Assuming the Rx itself fits inside of course

im talking f3f so fitting a full size rx in isnt an issue :-)

It's not just the CF Rob. 2 mates are using Spektrum inside CF fuses without any problem at all.

for 2 of my gliders, even 3, it's actually physically getting the Rx inside the fuse with servos connected without having servo wires and aerials crushed up against the inside etc. Mind you with FAAST it would be impossible full stop due to the size of the Rx in the first place.

The AR500 is looking a possibility for 1 plank but I've not looked that closely yet, it certainly would work in my mental Stryker better than the ill fated 6100 I had in it
