I have ticked no. I have had no problems with my DX7 and its supplied receiver AR7000.

I did however have a problem with a 6200 in my 450 (replaced FOC, fine since) and I have seen a few problems with the AR6100.
I would go for the AR7000 every time.

The receivers have crappy stiff wire for the antennas and these need covering with fuel tube or stripped silicone wire outer as a sleeve.

                I have ticked No

I had a 6100e blow out on me but I think that was the use it was put to rather than a fault as the unit works fine now even after the crash in close in plank

My only concern with Spektrum is the aerials but as Gordon says it can be sorted pretty easily

Running three of the 9 channel receivers in my machines and a module in my 10X. Not had a spot of bother with any of it in 18 months of use.

Yes I have had two lockouts, still unsure why they happened because my battery was fully charged on the model and tx. I sent all my receivers off and they all came back with the new quick connect, not a problem since but I am not fully trusting of 2.4 yet although its a huge improvement on the model flying charateristics and simplifies things at funflys.

                      No, problems here.
I have been concerned by the forum postings, but decided to judge by my own 1st hand experience which is good.

I would say that the build quality of the recievers isn't as good as my old Futaba 35Mhz ones, but the Dx7 & Dsx9 are sooo much better than any Futaba trannies.

Exactly the same here, so I ticked NO as well. I sent my 6200 back to HH for it to be checked out, they replaced it FOC because they couldnt find a fault with it, but for my peace of mind. Ace service from them

I'm saying no (apart from my own dumb mistake) based on my experiences of a Spektrum module in a 9xii followed by a DSX9. Never had a DX6 or DX7 tho.

Your poll is a complete waste or time Ade, hardly A true representation when people tick 'no' when they've had a problem.

Depends why they voted no I guess

I feel justified as I was pushing a 6100E Rx hard without QC or 1.2 firmware, sited right next to an 80A ESC running at around 100A and at a distance that was probably taking the **** big time. Other than that I've had no issues with lockouts, brown outs or anything else I could lay at the feet of the system itself

I don't think Futaba even do an Rx that would fit in that plank to test it, mind you that would mean making a new one up from scratch as well
