  • DX7 help please!!!

    i've just been using my Tx with the sim and everything fine, all good. turned it off and unpluged, turned the Tx back on, not good, infact not anything!! won't bloody work! Batt just been charged, 10.3v on turning off so not that.
    just wondering if any one else has had problems with this and if so how you fix it please?

    whip the back off there is a little fuse in there

      yip the fuse inside probs gone Ron is spot on, been a known issue. Not a hard thing to fix. Whip the back off and take a look, ya cant miss it.

          huh, now who'd have thought of puttin a fuse in an electrical item. thanks for that!! now, can i delete the thread so no one else can see just how much of a doughnut i am?

                Think you will find it is a 3 amp.
                Wouldn`t put a 13 amp in it
                Align T-Rex 600n Pro (Now with 3GX)
                Align T-Rex 500CF(Gone)
                Align T-Rex 450 Pro
                T-REX 250, had it since crimbo(bloody tail) want to smash it with a hammer

                    Steve d: if you get no joy on the fuse front- pm me your address and I'll post you 5 of the correct type( 3 amp )- picked up a few when the engineering dept at the hospital where I work was relocated,,,

                      It seems you used it the wrong way - you should OFF the transmitter and then connect it to the sim. After flight just disconnect it (the switch is in OFF position all the time!).

                            The same I put a radio fuse in 3amp
                            Today's outlook is fine for flying.
                            • Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.
                            • Blade Nano, mCP X, 130x, Blade 180, Mini T 450se
