Spektrum AR6200 minus remote

Hi All,

Anyone know if the Spektrum AR6200 can be used on it's own without the remote RX plugged-in.
Currently building a Gaui EP100 Pro & room/weight is restricted.
Due to the size, this one is for indoor hovering practise & back garden use, so it should'nt be going too far from me (hopefully).

I don't think they like working without their mate, you get lots of flashing if you try, also when you bind them you bind both parts, so if you change the little one it needs re binding - I'd not do it, just get a 6100 instead.
