  • Spektrum receivers

Just bought a DX7 with the AR7000 receiver.

I need to purchase additional receivers for me other heli's. Question is, which receivers do I go for?

I have a Raptor 30v2, T-rex 500 and Mini Titan. Would you put the 7000 in the Raptor and what about the others.

    Cheers for your help.

AR7000 for the rappy 30 (if you use a governor... if not an AR6200 will do). AR6200 for the Trex 500. AR6100E for the Mini Titan or ya could even fit an AR6200 on that too.
    Cheers

Yip the AR7000 will be fine... its just got that extra channel in case you ever want to stick a governor on it. The AR6200 is basically the same but only has 6 channels and is a little smaller. The AR6100E is a micro electric receiver which is half range. Its what i use on my Mini Titans. You wont be flying too far with a Mini Titan anyways so it all you'll need.

I've just used AR7000's througout. They are very light for there size compared to similiar Dual conversion 35Mhz RX's. I really see no point in opting for less channels to future proof your investment should you move onto other larger models and the weight saving is minimial.

Some people I think use a governor on the larger electric too. so may need 7 channels on the 500.
I would recommend the 6200 on the small heli - only the cost of a slight bump more and well spent I reckon compared to the 6100, I heard too many strange stories with the single part receiver.
There is the 6100e and the 6100 and the difference is the e has the plugs coming out the end rather than the top.

Actually the way I fly my nitro's I could easily use a six channel rx. The only time I switch to the lower head speed is when I get in a strange mood and practice B test manoevres. The rest of the time my revlock 20 may as well be on manual!
