  • Spektrum quick connect

I fitted a new rx to my 450 after a few stange happenings -the other AR6200 is on its way to horizon hobby. Quickconnect is new to me.

I noticed at the end of the second pack in my 450 that the AR6200 has the led flashing in both receivers.
So maybe it got a power dip...

I unplugged the pack and plugged it back in -still flashing.
I unplugged the pack and waited a while, and plugged it back in. - still flashing.

how long must I wait before it gets a new reset and stops flashing?
Must I switch off he tx so it handshakes and starts again?

Maybe my Rx didn't get a power dip, it is merely flashing becuase I fitted a fresh battery (probably only disconnected for a few seconds).

    I'm confused.
There isn't much explanation about quick connect on the spektrum website, and nothing in the new AR6200 instructions which only say how to bind it and little else. Is there no explanation about what scenarios of flashing LEDs there are and what they mean and how they are reset?

      thanks.
I conclude my flashing leds were due to changing my lipo out within the quick connect period of about 15 seconds or so, and not cyclcing the tx.
      Not from a flaky BEC
Which fits becuase it was all working fine.

          Quite correct sir.

I have been having similar problems with one of my AR7000 receivers, Have re-bound it but no difference.

Just learn to double check its shook hands everytime I connect them together.

Caught me out to start with.. The Flashing rx and slave rx would drive me nuts! Forget who said about cycling both the Tx and Rx, but never had a problem since. A very smart bit of electronics if you ask me!

Yes, had a good fly at notts. Saturday weather was perfect (just a bit too good a hang gliding day...).
Burned most of a gallon, had lots of bother with the 450 (I would have won the pylon race if I'd actually flown more than 2 yards ), and I flew the knight in the dark. The light rope needs 3 cell voltage to light bright enough. now its great.
edders had a go with my 600n and liked it - I had a go with his 600n which was also interesting. Conclusion is the heli is not holding me back, and I don't enjoy someone doing the low silly stuff with my heli.
