Use Standard Size Crystal with micro Rx?

can someone tell me whether it's possible to use a standard Crystal with a micro Rx like the one at http://www.bluearrow-rc.com/products...s/r3p5-ht2.htm.

But if your buying from that source why not get the correct crystals -- seems logical.

I've actually already got the Rx via ebay.

I need to be sure about the Cx before I go soldering anything...

er, yeah.
not the actual crystal, but something which allows me to plug in the normal, larger, crystal.

Crystal extension lead - yes use them a lot so I can gain easy access for quick changes of xtals at fly-ins.
Never needed to solder them in though ??
Won't that bugger up your guarantee.

I was expecting to need to solder due to the different sizes of the legs on the crystals, and, more importantly, the gap between them.

Guarantee Schmarantee. (It was only 15 quid.)
