  • I don't ruddy believe it....

My DX6i rudder trim has gone .... AGAIN!!... That will be the third time now since I bought it, and it's always the left trim that goes. I'm getting really brassed off now. Two DX6i's and both have had problems. Mainly this one though, I'm sure they replaced it last time. If it was me being heavy handed I could understand it being the aileron trim, as that's my stronger hand, but no, always the rudder.

I'm going to bind the other tx, but only to the CX2 for now as I don't trust it, on Phoenix it has a bad habit of 'locking out' and the helis do something I didn't ask of them. If it did that to my Blade 400....

This is well wierd John, I've been using my Dx6i for 3 months on the Blade400, and DX7 for the last few weeks, never had any issues.

Perhaps I should take a look for you before you send it off again.

    Asfalloth.

the elv trim went on mine and i found it was the screw holding the small circuit board inside. horizon sent me a new board and i couldn't work out why they both worked when i pressed the buttons with it removed but fitted they both failed! its just a matter of getting the right tightness on the screws.( i used two slightly longer ones from the blade hardware pack )

I've e-mailed them, but I'm pretty upset over it, as I don't dare use my other DX6i for the Blade because I really don't trust it. As I mentioned the helis on Phoenix do weird things with it sometimes. I don't know that it IS the TX, but don't want to try it on a heli like the Blade, it could kill somebody.

The rocker arm's broken. If I turn the rocker around it works the opposite switch. So whichever way I put it in one switch won't work. I'll nick one from my other DX6i, that way I'll have one good one and one I keep for the sim, at least until I can afford a DX7 later on. That will get me out of trouble.
