Hi all, a Q that i'm sure has been asked be4 can you use i.e.... jr tx with futaba rx as long as the chrystals are the same??

JR PPM yes you can, but you have to plug the channels in the same way as the futaba rx. JR is different channel order for the controls.Originally posted by steve c View Post

Dont think dual conversion Futaba 35 works with Jr, you can only use standard crystals..
So if are just using a standard one then should be fine but as mark said it better to run like with like.

Futaba dual conversion Rxs do work with JR PPM Tx - I've been using it recently.
It's only the PCM encoding that doesn't work.
As said before - the channel assignment is set by the Tx, not the Rx, so plug the servos into the receiver as you would for that particular brand of transmitter, not to what it might say on the receiver.
Also - it's a good idea (recommended) to use the same make of crystal as the Rx. i.e. if you're using a JR Tx and a Futaba Rx, then make sure the Futaba Rx has a Futaba crystal.JR Vibe Fifty fb (YS56)Comment
