DX7 mate . I have one and it's the best thing I've brought since I started this hobby. Not one fault other than the balance when using a neckstrap (all 2.4GHz have this problem), sorted it out with a cheap balancer.

DX6i is another good radio with slightly less better looks and a different menu system (and one channel less). It's a lot, lot cheaper though.

The DX6i does balance perfectly with a neck strap unlike the DX7 but if you can afford it, the DX7 is the better radio as it has an extra idle up and also the extra channel.

I have the DX6i and think it is great.

I would agree with the Spektrum vote.

Sorry, indeed it does what I should have said was any FM shared transmitter bodies.

My mistake, thanks for correcting me.

Nice great choice, you won't be disappointed, the menu system is real nice and easy to work through while being advance at the same time.

                  Good price too!

Any probs P.M me. As long as it's not to do with planes .

Well before I bought mine I did a HUGE amount of reading on the net of Tx reviews, and chose the Futaba 7C, for various reasons, but the DX7 rx resetting mid flight was my main gripe at the time (although that may have fixed by now?) plus I perfered the continuous channel shifting every 2ms of the FASST system.....
but they are both very close, so enjoy your new 7 channel 2.4Ghz
                      I enjoy mine

                            i use a futaba 9c on 35mhz
but if i go 2.4 then it will be the jr dsx9
model match is the way to go
a vote for the dx7 here, i don't like the fact that the dx6 uses dry cell batteries in the tx and a few have been known to loose contact on the springs on the batteries and the radio turns off (this was found on set up, the cure was to stretch the springs)

i've used a futaba 6ex 2.4 but never used a 7c so no comment on that one but no probs with the 6ex

on the dx7 keep a good rx voltage as a low power lock out may only last a few seconds but its enough to crash

I had a load of problems with various AR6x00 Rxs crashing mid-flight (lock-up/power-loss, undocumented LED behaviour, Horizon Tech Support didn't come up with any sense). Appears to have been static from the tail belt, cured with graphite grease.

Spektrum Rxs may be sensitive to this, but it's easilly fixed. Whether they know this and/or are admitting to it may be a different matter.
