  • Futaba R149DP reciever 29 MHZ

    Hi ,
I have a 29 MHZ PCM reciever Futaba R149DP which I used in Singapore does anyone know if it could be converted to 35MHZ for UK use. It seems a pity for it to go to waste. On the other hand if any one was looking for a 29MHZ reciever and FF8 TX module to match with crystals let me know I would be happy to swap for a 35 MHZ reciever.

companies these days dont go down to component level when repairing. So when they convert a 29mhz rx to 35 i am pretty sure that they couldnt just retune it. This will mean fitting a new PCB. i doubt very much if it would be cheaper than buying a new RX.

Ade's right. Modern receivers use solid state components and are tuned for a specific frequency band. It is not possible to tune a receiver from one bandwith to another. You would be better off buying a new receiver, Im afraid.
