Replacing Rx ariel wire?

Hi Guys,

Just going over my heli and noticed the rx ariel wire is looking not as perfect as it should be and wondered if there is any particular guage wire and length you have to use to re-solder a new one in etc, or can it be any copper strand wire, OR does it HAVE to be a proper rx wire so the LHS's can charge a premium for something that you could get elsewhere for a fraction of the price? (I used to keep a marine reef tank so know all about dedicated shops selling something you could buy in tesco etc for a fraction of the price lol!!!)

Fingers crossed the heli will be ready for a tweek session sometime this week as long as the feathering spindle turns up from midland (cant beleive they never printed out all the online orders, typical when ive put an order in lol!)

Dam this weather, am bored stiff as was hoping to pop upto watch some flying tonight but weathers put a stop to that and the TV is crap at the mo lol.!

If weathers good tomorrow and your off to Ravendale, can you take it with you as will pop up if its not chucking it down or blowing a hoooooge gale etc.
