    Hi All
    Would appreciate your opioins/help.
Trex 450 SE V2, Futaba dig 3153 with GY401, and Hitec 65hb (OK? or something else). Could you suggest a RX please. Have had a look down the threads without luck.
    Many Thanks

Go with Hitec 65 MG's they will survive crashes easily as there metal geared. If ur on 2.4ghz then go for the AR6100 (unless ur using FASST that is). If 35 meg the go for a schulze alpha 835 or similar receiver. Possibly a Futaba 146ip if your on Futaba 35 Meg and dont want to spend more money. Id also go for the Futaba 9257 or 9650 servo to go with your GY401.

Buy 2.4 and forget about all the interference. 1 less thing to worry about in the future.

The FF7 2.4 is an awesome radio for the money. £200 for TX and RX (R617FS). Really easy programming and I think has a great feel to it (really grippy spikey stick ends).

You will have a lot of problems getting 35MHz to work reliably on a 450 SE V2 - as I and many others have found out (plenty lockouts). 2.4GHz give you a worry free radio link with no need to worry about how to route the long aerial. I mount mine like this, both at 45 degrees to the frame (ie at 90degrees to each other) :

Never looked back and dont have to worry bout people shooting ya down or glitches ... Well worth the money ...I have flown with both FF7 and a spekky 6/7 and i prefer the feel of the FF7 ... dont want to start a this is better than that thread .. its just my opinion
