  • r617fs - channel help

    Hi

I have the r617fs to go with my FF7 and i am putting this into my copterx se v2

I got the copterx servos's and speed controller with the kit but i cant figure out which way around to plug the servo's into the receiver as the plugs on the copterx servo's are not 'handed' as such. There is a orange, red and brown wire and i wonder does anyone know which one out of the orange or the brown should point to the outer edge of the receiver ? does it matter ?

Also i dont know what channel the BEC should be plugged into, the manual that came with the tx and rx only seems to cover the tx.

    thanks for any help

Brown to outer edge on those .... brown=black , red= red and orange= white to futaba leads ... Speed controller should be plugged into channel 3 which is the throttle channel ... I have a FF 7 2.4 ghz

thanks for this - slowly getting this setup when i can do it away from the eyes of 'she who must be obeyed' -

I have set it all up with HR3 swash etc and have all the servos in the correct channels but i notice everything seems to be backwards.

eg - backwards cyclic on the stick and the swash tilts forward and left cyclic and the swash tilts to the right. Increase collective and and the swash goes down etc.

Do i need to reverse some channels?

          thanks

sounds like some servos need reversing m8e .... trial and error .. .as each is diff ...

Reverse channel 1, 2 and 6 until all the servos go the same way when putting in collective input, then go to the SWASH menu and negate the PIT value if the swash moves the wrong way. Then negate the AIL and ELE if they go the wrong way. Then take off and begin some sustained chaos to check they are definitely going the correct way.
