Vbar Neo DX8 Gen 2 mac

just got all my stuff to start out new again, cant get DX8 gen to to bind the the vbar Neo using dsmx sats and 11ms, cant get vbar to link to mac software, mac pics it up as VBOOT thats it, any one able to help before i give up before ive started

I'm almost certain that EU DSMX radios don't do 11ms, and you have to use 22ms. Something to do with the 'listen before talk' requirement.

I could be wrong.

thanks, i have tried it on both with different rx and sats all genuine spektrum not Chinese ones, maybe thinking TX is faulty only had it a week

Have you tried binding with a distance of about 6 feet, Spektum seem to need a good distance in between to bind ok....

This doesn't sound like a binding issue as such. To even get to the point where you can bind you have to have the Vstabi software linked to the Vbar. If you are failing to get the Vbar to connect to the software then you cant even start the bind process.

Failure of the Vbar to connect to software is usually a driver problem, have you installed the drivers?

Have you downloaded the key file from vstabi website?

i thought the key file palava was only when using V6 software with Vcontrol? For use with a 3rd party tx on V5 software it's not required, for sure I've never used a key file .

well somehow it worked after uninstalling and installing many times, had to run it through windows to get the serial, to get the key file so it would read on mac all works fine now thanks bit gutted the old bluetooth modules wont work on it though
