  • Futaba 9c with Twister CP v2

    Hi!

I have recently bought me a Futaba 9c radio, and I have a JP Twister CP v2 copter which I would like to control with my new radio. I have very little knowledge on how to set up helicopters, and wondered if someone could help me?

If possible, I would like to set it up in the same way as the original radio that comes with the copter (with an idle up switch)!

    I appreciate all helpfull tips!

PS. I have checked out JPerkinson on net, but with no luck...

I'm not sure if you can do this with the 3-in-1 unit that comes with that heli but I may be wrong. Jboweruk has had success converting contras ( I know yours isnt a contra but they have similar 3/4-in-1 units) to 2.4 so he may know of a way.

This isnt quite the same. The Twister 3D required a seperate receiver and the users own transmitter to set up (as a conventional ccpm heli). The Twister CP V2 is the 'older' collective pitch machine with the 4-in-1 onboard and everything included, including transmitter. I had one and it was a pig to fly!

I have set up my Protech Helixx contra helicopter with the 3-1 receiver - no problem...

But just to correct you - the Twister has a 4-in-1 receiver... I don't know if that helps or make it more difficult!?
