You know, I'm really beginning to have my doubts about Spektrum TX's, I know the Blade series is from Horizon too and they seem to be decent helis, but from reading this and my troubles with the DX6i I'm having serious doubts about whether a more expensive TX like the DX7 will serve me any better.... Also the one for my CX2 (the orginal tx) had issues after a while in use.
I think my DX7 is pretty good for the money, I am certainly happy. This calibration was only a minor niggle and turned out to be very easy to resolve. The only thing I might do next is get a bigger tx battery, it doesn't really need it, but I love to tinker.

Easy..... Go into your pitch curve menu & make sure your output is 50%
Even easier..... Set your pitch curve to 0 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 100 during setup.
I know I could work around it, but now I know I am at centre stick without having to double check in the menu's.
Why work around something when you can easily fix it and have it 100%?

I personally didn't align the two lines for setup, only for flying.
What I do is create another profile without CCPM setup on and centre the throttle stick according to the digital display. I then switch modes back to the helicopter I am setting up (with subtrim on CCPM) while not moving the throttle stick. (Which is precisly where the lines meet up but meh )
Does this now mean your be flying close to my neck next time we meet.
I'm pleased you have it sorted bud'.
Nope I will still be keeping a safe distance, that way if I do start to get close you know you better start running cos I'm not in control!
Having seen how close you fly to yourself... and me sometimes... I think I will be getting a crash helmet and bikers leathers for our next meet!
