  • New Tranny options

    Guys,

looking for a new tranny.... I have the futaba 9cap at the moment and as I understand it the CCPM isn't amazing on the tranny the data packets are sent in the wrong order etc.

Plus had it for 3 years now and thinking to change as you do

I don't want to spend a massive amount and not going to DX7 not enough channels for me or mix's even for my other stuff.

Was thinking Futaba's 12FG but their new 10c is due anytime now? what other options are there and I only want the tranny and receiver not a full set so where from and what do you guys recommend.

Have you thought about using a Cyclock? This will improve your swash mixing and only costs £50.

Time for a pc then Mark ?? .... Theres a few options for 2.4 with 7 and above channels ... the jr9 2.4 is one option .... like ya say 10c and 12fg ... only downside i see to these is they are module based ....It whether ya wanna stay with futaba or go Jr is the choice m8e

7 channels is just fine for me so the FF7 i got is nice and i know all the menus and stuff ... Plus with the expense of a 10 or 12 channel Tx .. another helicopter to me

Me buy a PC... or build my own... Naa been there done that followeed the mass's and found out XP does Suck big time and Vista is a poor copy of OSX

I'lll keep looking for something nice but the 10c is module based.... hum intresting.... I will sell the Futaba 9cap to bridge the gap and my receivers which is the only way I can afford a new tranny really as these sets are not exactly cheap....

Mark ..Theres always the Dsx9 if ya wanted to stay 9 channel Tx .. Or buy a FF7 like mine ... Yeh the module based stuff on futaba puts me off as the arial is out the back of the Tx and behind the bar on it which to means if it gets plonked on the floor a little hard i know what will be breaking lol

This is a pic of the 12 fg resting on the handle. At no point is the module in contact with the ground. As for plonking your tx on the floor a little to hard, it's best to look after your tx. Just lay the tx down.

Okay come on now on the Hunt for a new tranny my old 9cap is time for replacement.

Spektrum DX-7 Not enough channels or Mixs, Lack of switch options

JR DX-9 2.4ghz - Dam Switch's are not fully assignable like my basic 9cap

Feedback on the Futaba 12fg would be nice

Futaba 10c lacks some stuff I'd like but also its not here yet.
