think u did a big boo boo there mind mate. Yip it would invalidate BMFA insurance. And you wont be able to fly at any events. If your in a club they shouldnt be allowing you to use it also. If i were you id contact the seller and see if you can come to an arrangement.

Apparently if you send to Horizon Hobby they can put it to UK/EU spec for a fee.

The power output is just greater thats all... nobody would even know if it had the CE sticker on lol. Give them a ring. Thats your best option mate.

FFs just called horizon, as soon as i said ive used ebay to buy a DX7 he creased up with laughter

Apparently as long as it goes through customs ok they will be able to offer a postal repair service, but they arent open to the public... there just a distributor, hence me never knowing they were there .

Hmmmm let's think about that shall we ? Having the correct power output is only one small part of CE certification. So even if it was reduced, it still wouldn't be CE certified.

So what are you saying then, are ALL UK DX7 not CE not certified?
As even the ones legaly purchased in this country are only de-tuned for Transmit power compliance aren't they?

Is every one with a UK purchased DX7 opperating outside of BMFA rules or is just the ones that are adjusted ?
