Does anyone who is lucky enough to own one of these TX's use the electronic swash ring that is in the software?? i assume this does the same as fitting a ring over the cyclic stick bezel to avoid the swashplate from "digging into" the corners.

Cheers Stuart, i thought so. It's just that there is nothing in my manual about that function, what about your manual??
I also like the way it displays the pitch angles on the home screen, another thing not covered in my manual.

I got mine when they first came out !!

Then 2.4ghz came out - In time I'm gonna buy the 2.4ghz module for it.

The the manual doesn't cover any of the changes in the firmware, for example originally you had to turn off the Tx and turn back on if you had selected not to transmit. Now you can just press a button. I do believe there are a few addendums on the Futaba site to explain the development changes.
              Cheers

I got the 2.4gig module which came with the 14chRX in January. It works a treat but as you may be aware, there is a software update to be done on the TX if you aint done it yet. reverting back to 35Mhz is no problem either.

                      The screen

Does any 14MZ user fint that the screen does not always light up when switching on? Mine took 6 attempts today before it finally lit up. I have had this happen before on the odd occasion but lit up when switched back on just the once, not 6 times like today.
The display is all working as it should and no problems with the touch screen either.

                      Phil.

my screen is getting quite bad to use .
sections of it no longer respond to the touch while some parts reqire a hard push.
Spoke to ripmax and need to get screen replaced sometime.
                        costs about £180.
still able to program most functions using the push button at bottom some bits more difficult.
Any one else had this problem?

I prefer a heavy TX, it has more mass and dampens down my shakes with effect!!!
I think the built in music player is a gimmic and would never use it.

I forgot to mention in my post about the screen lighting problem, although i have had the radio for two years it never saw the flying field for 12 months so the warranty expired before i even used it and it has only been used less than half a dozen times at the field.
