How loose do you have your throttle stick?

As above.. I just wondered how loose do you guys have your throttle stick set to.
Mine is fairly loose but I find that it still somehow sticks when I need to do be precise.. like inverted hover inches off the ground so I'm thinking of just adjusting mine to really loose (almost like the stick falls off if you have the TX standing on its feet and you move the throttle stick to high and let go, it should fall back to low) Is that a good idea? I can't see anything wrong with it as my thumb is always on the stick when I fly anyway but I just wanted to see what you guys think

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago where someone posted a link to some Teflon tape that could be used to make the friction thingy less 'creaky' on tiny movements.
I've slackened mine off almost as much as you say.

I have not being flying for long but i have slackened mine off to the max where when i started they were right down just feels more easier that way for me.

Hi m8 I did the teflon tape on my dx9 and it's great , you can tighten it up and its still really smooth.i felt with the stick too loose I was putting rudder in with out knowing it

I have mine silky smooth.

I loosen it up then put a little grease on the slider. Cant remember if the 14SG needed this?? But thats what I normally do as I can leave rudder stiffer.

Never noticed mine..............dare I say I can't feel the looseness; I just take it as it comes except once or twice when I ripped out the ratchet - oh and I always alter the length of the stick.

Muscleflex if you send me your address I send you some a piece of the telfon tape as I had to buy a metre of it and you only use a small bit
