Futaba R6303sb from ebay

I noticed the r6303sb receivers on ebay from the USA are virtually half the price of over here. I feel it's a silly question but I'm assuming I can use these and there isn't anything special about the American versions?

I think there are some fake versions of futaba stuff floating around. Not sure on these - I know there were some really low quality gyros around though (I think they had coins epoxied to the circuit boards to make them feel weighty and good quality)

I havent seen any fakes but I guess its the regular pricing structure ~$60 / ~60EUR / ~60GBP - which comes to £35 if you'd order from the US ...

..probbaly nearer the £40 with paypal conversion plus USPS can be very very slow although you have a decent chance that way of avoiding another £8 duty and a possible handling fee which wipes any benefit.

Not that I imagine it bothers anyone, but the ones sold in the USA are not CE marked, aside from that they are fine and work normally with our Futaba equipment.

Aside from that make sure it is an R6303SB not the R6303SBE and do check the postage cost as the ones I just looked at work out at around £56 by the time you add the postage cost and adjust for PayPal exchange rates.

So you'd save £10 if you get lucky with VAT and lose money if not.
