Spektrum AR7200bx problem

this is fitted to my trex 700n, all was working fine till i went to ajust the pitch. then went pear shape
i was plugged into it with my stick usb interface into the laptop and still connected to the internet it told me
that i needed an update so updated the ar7200bx from the email file and thats when my problems started
nothing was plugged into it at the time apart from power and data lead shut it down as it said plugged it all back in
went to try it everything worked ok on the startup lights flashing on both rows now all it does is flash up and down from
H to N my transmitter wont connect to it
unplug it put bind plug in thinking i had to rebind it light flashing on the corner set my dx7 to bind mode green light flashes for about 30 secs
goes out and comes on green thinking its done powers off removes bind plug power back on same thing as before

so i take it its now scrap not working or do you guys or gals have any ideas to whats going on thanks peeps

Are any of your trims on your TX off centre, if some are it will detect that and not initialise, then try binding again, but once it has bound take the bind plug out without turning the power off, see if this helps.

Can you re-flash it again, maybe something went wrong during the upgrade. Also try reverting to the 3.1.0 firmware, it should work OK you just won't have the gov feature

Silly question have you got all servos connected, if the tail servo isn't connected it will do the same thing

thanks guys i have reflashed it made sure all trims are in the center and still the same but i have done a video so you can see
tried to rebind it the H led flashes when the bind plug is in removed it while it still had power then turned it of to put power cable back into the slot and it still does the same

Thanks SGD tried that still the same all i get is just the flashing light on H and it will not bind and those lights in the video is when you turn it on to initializing and thats all it does and cannot bind it so im thinking it dont look good

If your doing everything right during the bind process and it's still not binding then I'd send it back to Horizon Hobby and let them have a look. Their support is excellent and will probably cost you nothing but ring them first and talk it over with their tech support who are very helpful.

I don't think that will work, I've done a bit of Googling, there are a few cases of the H-N light sequence reported. In all cases I could find returning the unit was the only fix, nothing else worked.

Its caused by a faulty RX board as far as I can tell.

Thanks all i did was upgrade it and now this happend wont let me bind it nothing the lights just keep flashing from H to Nas the video shows even if i put it into bind mode the light flashes and thats it wont go out nothing just keeps flashing

Does it respond to a factory reset or is the button dead too?
