I had made my decision, but now it looks like the Futaba 10c will actually be cheaper.
Skyline have a provisional price of £530 for a complete set on their website.

The other factor is that I already have six Speccy receivers, so it would cost me to change back to Futaba.
If I go & see the DSX9 in the shop I know I will buy it. This is tricky!

    Tim.

to be fair the futaba 10ch is not 2048 and the dx9 supposedly is. not sure myself but i'm fairly sure on that. not sure if thats important to some people but thats how it is.

the futaba comes with the good 14ch rx which is about 135 quid (altough you can't use 2048 multi mode)

be interesting to see what way people go but i think jr might have pitched this one a little high.

      cheers

Apparantly the 10C IS 2048 for 2.4 Ghz,
also bear in mind the DSX9 is only 2048 with 9ch receivers.

Another factor is that Spektrum are working on a combi Regulator/Receiver/gov
        which runs direct on 2S.

        Tim.

Hmm I think I may just stick to 35mhz for the time being until 2.4Ghz is not brand new and ever changing

the 10ch is 1024 according to the blib on skylines site. i have not looked into it further than that but perhaps others have? also of note, the actual screen on it says pcm1024......that seems fairly conclusive to me it doesn't have it but if others know better than please say so.

assuming it is 2048 then you still only get that with the 8ch rx and 14ch rx. so it is similar to the spektrum offering there.

            cheers

              Slightly better news today.

I rang Inwoods again today after my previous phone call to them yesterday when I was told "Around £400"

Well 100% confirmation today from Inwoods is £399.99p for the tranny only which is what I said was my limit for this set.

They will be in the shop at lunchtime on Friday, Mine is definately ordered at that price.

No receiver and no servos but I only need the tranny so not an issue.

They'll do well if they do Phil, As we all know very few retailers can touch Inwoods prices with the JR stuff.

Good luck and let us know.

I picked one up this afternoon from Inwoods, not for me though. It's for a club mate.

£540 for the full set or £400 for the Tx only.

They are in stock and seem to be selling like hot cakes.

Paid for mine this lunchtime and will be receiving it tomorrow via City Link.

I asked how many sets they had delivered from JR, The lady said 80 was delivered and 60 are sold and have to be packed and shipped this afternoon.

The price hasnt put many off it seems.
