How to wire an external BEC to Kontronik ESC's

Hi guys and gal's.

Its not a common question we get regarding running an external BEC with the Jives and even the Kosmik's but the most common question regarding these is how to wire it in correctly without damaging the ESC. So I drew this little diagram up quickly as it makes explaining it a whole lot easier to understand.

As beleive me, even the pro's get it wrong

Why run an external BEC on the Kosmik I have to ask. Whats it on too??

How to wire an external BEC to Kontronik ESC's

It's on the g4 and its an external rx pack and reg. still had to wire it in and disconnect the red wire from the esc.

I didn't have the money to get a prog disc at the time and needed 6.6v to run the tail servo. I had the extreme reg and other bits in the spares bin at the time so went with that.
