The Jive 100LV is a very good ESC and should work fine with that motor. However... it depends greatly on what size blades, what headspeed, and how aggressively you fly.

I had a 100LV in a JR E8 Leggero with a 730Mx / 850 and it worked very well - currently have the same setup in a Kasama Dune and it's even better as the Dune is a much lighter airframe.

If your main gear is 103 tooth and a 13 tooth pinion, with a 960Kv motor your governed headspeed will be 2391 at 63% throttle on the Jive, which is in the gov sweet spot. Max headspeed would actually be something like 2600, but you'd have no governor headroom. But you can easily run the Jives at 60%, 55%, so you'd have 2200 - 2300 available as well.

2200 - 2300 with 550 blades should be good. If your flying is relatively smooth you should be staying well under the max peak. You may even find you can run a bit lower headspeed and still do what you want.

If you get too heavy with the collective you can cause a Jive to shut down, this has happened to me, but I was using a Jive 80HV on 6s, so much less available punch to work with (and it actually worked very well as long as I kept aware of my collective management).

I am flying the Dune with 600mm blades at about 1750 and it easily does everything I want it to without breaking a sweat (well, actually what I want it to do is beyond the skill-level of my thumbs, but power wise it's fine ).
