Kontronik Prog Disc/Card

I don't suppose I could put out a plea for help? I was hoping someone has a progdisc or card I could borrow to chanmge the BEC voltage on my 120HV PowerJive please? Happy to provide beer tokens

I have a kosmik not a jive but can you not change the bec voltage through stick programming? on the kosmik it is on 10 beeps then once selected each beep goes up from 5.2v.

Nope, although I find it ridiculous that you can't, given the price of the Kontronik units...

I've double checked the manual and it confirms I need a prog card 2

I've not managed to get any of my jives working with the prog- unit. Any one else managed this yet? Lucky I have a friend who still has a prog-disc.

The jives work with the prog disk,
If it's a power jive you can only go from 5.6v to 6v so it's not a massive step.

I am prepared to stick my neck out and say that I consider Kontronik to be somewhat over complicated (rather like the V thingys).

I am not saying they are bad, I have never had one so I can't say from first hand knowledge.

I get on very well with Castle which I have on my three main helicopters. They seem pretty easy to set up and adjust. They seem to work well. If I remember correctly they are also pretty reasonably priced.

Which programming unit is the right one for my ESC?

The different types of ESCs work with different programming units. KONTRONIK ESCs can be programmed by ProgCARD (#9305), ProgCARD II (#9305) or PROGDisc or ProgUNIT (#9311). Please have a look at the table below for detailed information:
