ok, after a bad talon experience the first time round, I now have another brand new unit FOC from castle..... I pondered about selling it, but have decided to give it a second chance.
Its going on the 550 to replace the std align 70a (which has worked flawlesly until a battery wire came off yesterday, luckily on the ground !)
The mounting is the question here..... It will go on at a silly angle, right at the front, without extending the mx motor wires, which are pushed through a hole in the frame thats a bit small for them tbh. It works like this but looks iffy, and the motor wires are tight on the frame which is not great either. Anywhere near the front and its out of the main airflow as well. The nicest and neatest fit is on the side in a more conventional manner, but this requires soldering extensions to the motor wires (not really an issue)
I just wondered how others have done it on there 550 v1/v2, whats the most popular method then ?
