Yep, having a few problems setting up the esc on my 500.
I was finding that the throttle response was a bit 'notchy' (not nice and smooth like I expected). So I remember reading somewhere that you should set the esc up with the throttle travel, same as you do with the servos, the manual is a little vague on this and I now seem to have cocked up the settings good and proper.
I'm using a DX7s by the way.
I am getting into setup mode (I think) but I don't seem to get the noises for the throttle travel that are illustrated in the manual, then when I go beyond that setting I can get position 1 (low) but when I put the stick to mid for position 2 it records it as position 3!!!!
So I'm stuck and not prepared to fly her again till I'm sure all is ok..
