Whats the best way of Mounting a YGE 120

Bought a YGE120 for my Rush 750 not sure what the best way as the heat sink is underneath, does it need some posts to stand on

Some pics of mounted YGE's would be awesome!

Not sure if you can see but I have them mounted on 19mm stand offs which are hollow with a thread all the way through. Then just used cap head screws to mount. I have 2 like this on 7hv's and a friend has his rush the same.

The stand offs are from Budd at Quick uk. You'd be better of ringing him and asking as its the sort of thing he hasn't got on the website.

I will take a close up later when I'm in the man cave.

Seems odd to mount the heatsink upside down?

My standoffs are like Heathys but I used align frame spacers

Andy, I see what you mean. However there's loads of airflow over it with my vents in the canopy. Comes down warm not hot.

Yours does look cool though.

i have mounted it on some stainless steel bolts with silicon tubing, so the YGE can still move and has good air flow underneath!

on a post with a nail through it, should be pretty secure that way.
