The edge 160 has fixed end points. I haven't set one up on vbar but on ikon you adjust the end points in the software first for max throttle. The esc beeps when u reach max throttle and same for low. Hope this helps

First do the esc endpoints, then the limits for vbar.

I do it differently It doesn't matter to much but here's how I do it.

if using say a spektrum or Futaba radio (anything other than V control)

First I calibrate the transmitter to the V bar software on Tab 3 in the software (transmitter tab)

I adjust my transmitter so I'm seeing -100% to +100% throttle channel

I then go to the gov 2 tab and slide the sliders both to the middle -40% to 40%

I then select "ON" throttle / ESC output controlled by collective and I then move the pitch to the top and plug a power source onto the speed controller (power is already supplied separately for RX and V bar)

slide the right hand slider to the right until I hear a beep

Then i move the pitch stick to the bottom and I slide the left slider left wards until I hear another beep at this point I add a couple of points to either side of the slider and everything is now calibrated.

          Hey buddy.

Myself when using the Castle govenor which works well, I leave the Vbars throttle travel values at 100%, as they are not really needed outside of using the Vbars own govenor. You also don't need to scroll across to the govenor tabs.
Nitro would be different where you would be using a servo controlled by the Vbar and thus need to specifically set end points within the Vbar to work properly.

As you're using the Castle govenor, you will set it in govenor mode and setup the required gear ratio/LiPo settings and desired rotor rpms as required.
Then use the transmitters throttle ATV values to obtain the required beeps from the ESC at max and min throttle stick points.
Setup the bailout point in throttle hold and you're good to go.
