YEP120HV on a 600MX 510KV

Has anyone tried this combination- YEP120HV on a 600MX 510KV? I read somewhere that the YEP 120HV struggles with some 10 pole motors.

Has anyone encountered any issues with this combo?

I ran a YEP120HV with an Align 700M / 510 and it worked great. I had only seen comments about the YEP having issues with Scorpion HKIIIs but even that wasn't like a first-hand account.

I had bad problems with a YEP 120HV on a Compass SZ4926 510Kv (ten pole). The motor would spool up normally but after a few seconds it would lose power then start surging. Here's a video of the problem:

It's not me doing the throttle up and down, the ESC is doing it all on it's own. I swapped the YEP out for a Castle Edge 120HV and it's ran flawlessly ever since. I got a refund from hobbyking but still have the YEP, I've not tried it on another motor as i assumed it was simply faulty.
