I had an align 70A ESC (Stock with 500 EFL pro) that was on the heli when the original 500MX Motor siezed in flight.
The ESC doesnt smell or act funny; Apart from it seems to be down on power.
Trillian very kindly lent me her Turnigy 85 amp ESC which I put in the heli, and it goes like brown stuff off the proverbial... I've never seen it with so much power! So I took it off, put the old 70A back on and again, it seems a little down on power, and the tail blows out 180 degrees on climb outs.
I figure my ESC must be toast, but I would have thought an ESC would either be broken, or work just fine no?
Im confused! I figure I need a new ESC but im just checking nobody else here has any pearls of wisdom....
