  • High Voltage Servo's

Looking ahead I've been using for a while now the TT servo's and have found them very robust, precise and reliable.

With the new generation HV servo's coming in I've been checking out the JR line - ouch!!

Expensive but some of the speeds didn't impress me over the current digital for the price. I noticed a Srimok with some HV JR's on and I wondered if anyone is flying on HV and do they really see any major benefits.
    Cheers

I fly my Outrage 550 on HV. It responds pretty damn quick......that's about it though

I've flown it on 6V digis and same servos running 8V. You can notice the difference in response but I wouldn't say it is a huge marked difference. I didn't convert to 8V to get response though, I just wanted to ditch the regulator and run straight off a 2S lipo......one less thing to go wrong.

My Aurora runs on 8v 8717's. At my level I can hardly tell the difference between them and the 610's at 6v on my 700. As Ash say's though, the lack of reg is a nice thing.

I reckon that is the best case for HV servos certainly, as long as you remember to keep the Rx pack charged
