They look good, shame they are the £30 (for set of cyclics) than the Outrage ones.

..and as they are made by the same manufacturer, they cant be that different? The specs dont seem to look it anyway.

what's the RRP for the outrage one? I think most dealer are selling them at the discount price.

Only MKS know how well them make these servo compare to others. All I know is the team pilots who test them don't want to use other servos now :-)

There is no comparison, Outrage servos are MKS servos

I only looked on FL and they were £322 for Outrage compared to £356 MKS (RRP @ £374)

FYI the outrage servos are helical gears, the blurb makes no mention of that on these servos? so there is at least some difference in that case.

              cheers

Either way that's cheap for HV servos!

The JR ones are/were 450 a set and people say the outrage ones are better!

I have a different understanding of cheap

Try £37 for a HV tail servo:

Only time will tell, no need to say many marketing descriptions, the RRP price is set by MKS worldwide, I am sure they know how much the other servos sells for, and I am sure they know people are not stupid, if they put a higher price tag, they have to make them better. All I know is we got these HBL950 and HBL980 servos back to April, and there are 8 sets of them have been under test in the UK and they are still going strong. Also, there are more pilots from other countrys have been testing these HBL950 HBL980 as well. It is all fact. :-)
