Torque's

Hey guys looking for new servos im using 9252 on my 600 with beast x so my question what would be the minimum amount of torque for a flybarless set up. Im running 6v with a perfect reg

Or is 6.6kg at 4.8v enough for 3d. (this is the only spec available for these servo's)

Think you kinda answered your own question there mate as your using them already.

If your just wanting shiny new servos then the DS610's are as good as any for the money good VFM
or the next option i would go for would be MKS some of them have monster torque like 30kg+
Turnigy do the same but for less on HK site they are the same mate just rebranded!

Was just wondering if this is enough torque as my flying is progressing the servos are working fine but will more torque help for more aggresive stops, the extra punch from flybarless worries me that the 9252 may let go.

9252s are plenty they used to be "the" servo for 90s.

well, the flybar acts as power steering. In flybarless, the servos need to work harder. In a .50, you may still get away with the 9252. But if it bounces in abrupt stops, even with decent FBL blades, then look no further, there's your problem. If you've got them already, why not try. Keep an eye on the temperature as a sign of overload.

If the heli pulls up in extremely fast forwards flight, regardless of the related parameter on the BeastX, this would also indicate overloaded servos.

In my FBL 600, I run DS 610s straight from 2s, and it's the most accurate heli I've got.

just read this after my last post and they do bounce i've had them on this heli for 2 years and they were on it before i bought it so maybe time to upgrade them.

If you have time to experiment, use the shortest servo arms that still give enough collective travel. In my opinion it does not matter, when the push-pull linkage isn't parallel anymore. A good geometry can make a big difference for abrupt stops.
Maybe you'll find they are good enough. If not, the Futaba horns are Align compatible

I have the 3g align metal horns on servo's since the futaba star jobbies gave in. The distances are 21mm or 24mm i think so unable to play with those. I daren't risk plastics again as it cost me £150 to repair after last failure.

I've got 21mm on my 600, with the standard (old) bellcranks and 35 mm blade grip arms.

no, I meant the length between the feathering shaft and the ball link.
Mikado should be long enough, I think.
