    Futaba s9351 first gear

    I trashed my 600esp very unceremoniously on 2nd feb and it has remained in pieces since. I have finally got off my backside and ordered the parts (quite an expensive one in 600 terms) but I am having probs finding gears for my futaba s9351s

    They only ever strip the first plastic gear but seem to be really hard to source in the UK

    Hobbystores usually have them but I can't seem to log on as the site is down on my iPhone

    Anyone have any suggestions where I can get some ?

    BLS351 gears are the same Don

          The only diff between a 9351 and a bls351 servo is the motors. One is brushed tother is brushless. And If I recall correctly the metal cog is to toughen them up a bit becasuse when they fail its usually the little cog that goes not the teeth on the big one.

            So why is it not publicised. I have searched big time and they share the same first gear with another servo but I haven't seen a reference to the bls 351 ??? I'm now confuzzled

              isnt it designed to be a sacrificial plastic gear to save the others though?

                It was pubhlished somewhere Don Years ago. Ill try and find it

                And Telehandler yeah its tha sacrificial gear, But with the BLS motor being quite a bit stronger than the normal 9*** series one they had to uprate the centre gear to a metal insert so it will hold the torque. You still have a sacrificial gear, its just a bit stronger

                        Im a fountain of useless info like that!! I have no idea how to set up a flybarless heli, But know what gearsets fit what servos LOL
