Longer servo arms

Hi all,

I changed from bell cranks to direct to servo as I could not get enough resolution. Now, I have too much resolution and not enough throw so my roll and flip rates are too slow for my liking. I'm currently using the standard 4 arm futaba horns. What can I use instead to gain about 2-3mm?

Quick UK do a whole range of arms and disks for all servo types, on their website it gives you the exact position of the threaded holes from the centre of the servo arm screw. If you are avoiding metal in case of servo gear strip, Dubro do plastic arms in various sizes, but I don't think they specify hole position in any literature so you would need to just get some and hope. What is the exact distance you are looking for?

I use the large plastic discs on my fury55 carved into shape to look like a horn hole centre is 19.5mm on these perfect for most direct to swash systems.

I'm not sure tbh, but I'm using the furthest out hole on the 4 arm stars so I'll measure when I get home. Cheers!
